As we continue our Lenten theme of “love thy neighbor” we come to the celebration of Palm Sunday. As the disciples joyfully praised God and the miracles that they had seen, announcing his entrance into Jerusalem, they were rebuked by the Pharisees in the crowd. Jesus replied, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” Luke 19:40
We invite you to join the Palm Sunday Worship by providing stones and share words of love, inspiration, hope and blessing that you wish for yourself/and or others. This is a great activity for kids and adults alike!
- Bring a stone (of any size) with a word or prayer or symbol of this blessing for others and place it at the base of the outdoor cross in front of the church. The deadline for these offerings of love is Saturday March 20, 2021 as we’ll be pre-recording Palm Worship March 21st.
- If you are not able to visit the church and place a rock there, we have set up a Kudoboard at
https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/0EkD3H2e for you to put your wishes for others. The Worship committee members will put those prayers on rocks for you!
Join us at our Palm Sunday worship where we will incorporate them into our celebration.
