Prayer To Go – June

A Potter’s Wheel

As a potter shapes clay into a vessel,

shape me, O Blessed One,

into a true disciple of your Way.

Fill me with your grace

that I may train my body this day

to serve others.

Prayer To Go – May

Come,
Holy Spirit,
Fill the hearts
of your faithful
and kindle in them
the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit
and they shall be created
and you shall renew
the face of the earth.

Prayer to Go – Lent

Deep in Lent, Lord,

Help me to fast from unkind thoughts,

from words much better left unsaid,

and judgments made from lack of love, hidden resentments may have fed.

Nourish me, Lord; with every breath,

may I drink in your love and light,

to taste and know,

that growing peace

which brings a different appetite.

January 2018

Dear Lord,

Thank you for a new year filled

with fresh grace

and countless opportunities!

Lead me to Your heart,

Your Word and Your ways

as I seek to live out

Your love in 2018.

In Jesus Name, Amen

God of Hope

God of Hope,

who brought love into this world,

be the love that dwells between us.

God of hope,

who brought peace into this world,

be the peace that dwells between us.

God of hope,

who brought joy into this world,

be the joy that dwells between us.

God of hope,

the rock we stand upon,

be the center, the focus of our lives

always, and particularly this Advent time.

… DECEMBER 2017

The world is alive with your goodness, O God,

The world is alive with your goodness, O God,

It grows green from the ground

and ripens into fruit.

Its taste and its touch

enliven my body and stir my soul.

Generously given, profusely displayed,

your graces of goodness pour forth

from the earth.

As I have received, so free me to give.

As I have been granted, so may I give.
